Privacy policy
VideoRidgeline is a product of Teton Forest Technologies, LLC, based in Little Rock, Arkansas. This page explains what we collect on this website and what we do with it. The platform itself is still in development, so this policy covers only this website and its early access list.
What we collect
When you join the early access list, we store:
- your email address,
- your name, if you choose to give it, and
- the date and time you signed up.
If you email us, we keep your message and your email address so that we can reply and follow up.
When you visit the site, our hosting provider, Cloudflare, handles technical details that every browser sends, such as your IP address and your browser and device type. These are needed to deliver the pages and to protect the site from abuse, and they may be held in hosting logs for a short time. We do not store your IP address with your signup, and this website does not use advertising trackers.
Website analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how the site is used overall: which pages are viewed, which sites send visitors to us, the type of browser and device, the visitor's country, and how quickly pages load. It does not use cookies, and it is not used to identify you or to follow you across other websites. You can read more in Cloudflare's description of Web Analytics.
How we use it
- Your signup details are used to send you VideoRidgeline launch communications, such as news about early access opening.
- Messages you send us are used to answer you.
- Technical details and analytics are used to run the site, keep it secure, and understand how it is used.
When we share information
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. It is shared only in these situations:
- with the companies that provide the services described below, which receive only what they need to do their part;
- when we are legally required to, for example by a court order; and
- if VideoRidgeline or Teton Forest Technologies is sold or merged with another company, in which case the early access list may pass to the new owner as part of that change.
Services we rely on
This website and the signup list are hosted with Cloudflare, which processes requests to the site on our behalf. The signup form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people apart from automated spam. Turnstile checks technical signals from your browser to do this; that processing is described in Cloudflare's Turnstile privacy information.
The cookie banner is provided by Cookiebot, a consent tool from Usercentrics. It records the choice you make in the banner so that it can be honored and shown as proof of consent; that processing is described in Cookiebot's privacy policy.
Cookies
Our analytics do not use cookies, and we do not use advertising cookies. Cookiebot stores a cookie that remembers the choice you made in the cookie banner, so you are not asked again on every visit.
How long we keep it
We keep your signup until you ask us to remove it, or until the early access list is no longer needed. We keep messages you send us for as long as we need them to deal with your request. After something is removed, a copy may remain in backups for a short time before it expires.
Security
This site is available only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and access to the early access list is limited to the people who need it to run VideoRidgeline. No way of sending or storing information is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
Children
This website is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has joined the early access list, email contact@videoridgeline.com and we will remove them.
Where information is processed
Teton Forest Technologies is based in the United States. Information is processed in the United States and may also be processed in other countries where Cloudflare operates.
Leaving the list
You can leave the early access list at any time. Email contact@videoridgeline.com from the address you signed up with and we will remove you. Any launch email we send will also include a way to unsubscribe.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- tell you what information we hold about you and give you a copy,
- correct it, or
- delete it.
To make a request, email contact@videoridgeline.com. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local law, including the right to complain to your data protection regulator.
If you are in the EU or UK
We rely on your consent, given when you submit the signup form, to send you launch communications. You can withdraw it at any time by asking to be removed. We rely on our legitimate interests to run the site, keep it secure, and understand how it is used.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will post the new version here and update the effective date above.
